The History of Asia Gospel Partners

When my wife and I first visited Myanmar in 2001, we never guessed how that brief visit would change our lives.

Working at the time for a U.S.-based Christian ministry organization, we saw committed individuals in Myanmar selflessly serving others. They shared the truth of the gospel with surrounding communities, and provided practical and generous humanitarian aid to needy adults and children.

After returning to the U.S., that experience made it hard for us to live our lives the same as before. For example, we began comparing the price of discretionary purchases against what the same amount spent on food or supplies in Myanmar would do for people in need.

Over time, we reconnected with those we first met in Myanmar. What followed has become a priceless, long-term friendship. Those commitments we witnessed in others on that first trip — sharing the gospel and helping the poor — have become our passions. And now, we wish to offer the same opportunity of making a difference to other interested individuals, churches, and organizations.

To that end, we formed Asia Gospel Partners on March 28, 2025. The ministry has been approved by the IRS as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and donations are tax-deductible.

Our Mission and Goals

The mission of Asia Gospel Partners is to make disciples of Jesus Christ in the war-torn country of Myanmar by supporting children’s education through the provision of a safe location and essential educational resources.
